In Bloom, a leading florist in Orlando, recently needed some commercial construction buildout in their warehouse and office. CAM Contracting stepped in to bring the new spaces to life.

Project Scope

The varied construction work CAM Contracting performed on this project includes:

Interior buildout
New service elevator
Expanding the office space
Exterior and interior painting
Concrete work
General site work

Unique Challenge

The commercial buildout for In Bloom Florist had to be completed during normal business hours with customers and staff using the space being renovated and built out.

The Solution

CAM Contracting worked closely with In Bloom to schedule the work and manage the relevant trades to ensure minimal interuptions.

The Country Club of Orlando gets new support

Project Profile: Country Club of Orlando commercial construction–

The Country Club or Orlando is one of the most venerable institutions in Central Florida. But even the most prestigious of bodies can use some new support from time to time. When the beams supporting the roofs over the porches of the clubhouse and pro-shop were sub-par, the CAM Contracting pros stepped in and got everything safe and sound.

Project Scope

Replace all of the exterior structural beams supporting the roof system of the clubhouse and pro-shop.

Unique Challenge

The beams required to support the roofs over the covered porches were huge. Coming in at 8” wide x 24” tall x 12’-16’ long, these monsters had to be flown in with a crane. It was in a tight area complicated by clubhouse activities remaining in progress.

The Solution

This project required constant, hands-on supervision, great teamwork, and clear communication with the owners of the club. Extreme diligence saw the project completed safely and securely.

It is with great pleasure I am able to recommend CAM Contracting and its President, David Seip. I have had the privilege to use CAM contracting on many different projects over the past five years. All the projects have been completed satisfactorily and with excellence. CAM has completed small size projects (install a new exterior doors or windows), medium size jobs (replace drywall in a home) and large commercial projects (tear down and replace the framing and concrete floors of 3-story stair towers on multiple apartment buildings) involving many subcontractors and a multi-month critical path plan. Each time I engaged Mr. Seip and CAM, they were focused on finishing the project with excellence and timeliness. Mr. Seip has always been personally involved in each project to make sure that subcontractors were completing their portion accurately. I have always appreciated his attention to detail and excellent communication of progress or issues. As a Christian business leader, it is obvious to me that Mr. Seip lives his faith daily and holds himself and his company to the highest moral standards and business practices.
